As a former member I should have not expected anything different but somehow I do retain the ability to be surprised by the latest shambles the UUP has got itself into over the membership list and the leadership election. It pledged to conduct it's first ever election on the basis of one member one vote. However, it appears they are having significant problems producing an accurate list with legal action being threatened and an emergency meeting called to try and sort the issue out.
