Who is bailing the bank out?
The irish government (by borrowing money on international markets).
A hell of a lot of that money came from London (As I understand it, about 220bn is owed by Irish Banks to UK Financial Institutions).In a sense, we have to be thankful that the Irish Government is not allowing its banks to default.
