On the issue of children and environmentalism, as a new consumer of children's TV, the emphasis upon environmentalism is a persistent and strong theme in the programming. This development and the removal of any Christian element, replaced instead by spiritualist crystals and 'yogo', are the two significant shifts from my childhood memories of such programming.
