It seems that the first circular firing squad was formed in East Londonderry last night with the siiting UUP MLA and Deputy Speaker, David McClarty was de-selected. The choice of candidates from one end of the constiuency isn't the wisest either. It also raises questions for Elliott's campaign, if key supporters can't muster enough members to secure their own selection can they muister enough for him?
