At 7.50am, 7th September 2010, the beard was involved in a fatal shaving incident and is no more. Only one blurry picture was taken shortly before its demise. Experts are now arguing whether it deserved the title of beard at all. In the shaving incident Ultonia was left with only slight injuries and his developing second chin fully exposed. Mrs Ultonia commented he looked 10 years younger.
